Policy for reservations for 2010:
10% discount on ADVANCE RESERVATIONS and a 2 night minimum (3 on cabins/lodges) only.
Walk ins, and sites booked after August 1st, will not receive the 10% advance reservation discount.
With more people expected than last year, we’re trying to expedite check in, especially as there are so many groups where people arrive separately for the same reservation. To facilitate the check in process, this year we will need:
* Full payment to be made by August 1st, with no refunds after that time
* For people booking multiple sites, or with multiple people on one site, we need the following:
* Each site must be in the name of the individual who will be occupying it – we cannot hold multiple sites in one person’s name.
* We need the names of all adults who will be staying on sites; this should help us get people registered more quickly and on the proper sites
Fees
Day Visitors fees: $10 per person for entire weekend for KOA facilities and amenities etc.
All Potjie attendees: $10 per person for entire weekend for – sokkie, wine tasting and potjie eating!
So
Day visitors = $20.00 per person for all events
Campers = $10.00 per person for all events ($10 facility charge included in reservation.)
(you will get a arm band as proof – please wear it !)

* Main Category: LAMB
* Other Categories: Best boerewors in TX (Saturday); Bread, Dessert, Open (anything BUT beef); Cook/campsite.

Tent-area
There WILL be limited electrical facilities in the tent-area. For charging cell phones, camera’s etc. NO Fridges, no skillets or coffee pots etc.
Dogs/pets rules:
If your pet is camping with you,
please note major changes to the pet rules.
(Papers & $ 50.00 deposit at check-in)
NO pets over 25 lbs. will be permitted.
Dogs/pets must be UNDER 25 lbs. with 2 sets of papers:
* 1st proof of current shots being up to date;
* 2nd showing insurance naming Rusk, TX KOA as additional named insurance.
Dogs HAVE TO be on leach 100% of the time during the entire weekend.
1st time off leach – loose deposit
2nd time… you will be asked to leave the festival.
If you want to bring your dog/cat, you can even use the Vet facilities in Rusk.
