REGISTRATION WINDOW

Begin at on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4),

Conclude on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4).

All entries must be submitted electronically during the registration period, when applicants may access the Electronic DV Entry Form DS-5501 at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov. Paper entries will not be accepted.

It is quite easy to enter yourself. Just follow the instructions carefully.

As always, beware of scammers. Scam artists, who want to enter you in the lottery for a fee and many of whom will merely take your money and run, have become such a big problem that even the US government is now warning against them. Don’t fall for their scams! Simply follow the official instructions and you should be fine!
